Did You Know?

Q:  I do a thousand sit-ups a day but my stomach still isn't flat.  Why isn't my stomach getting smaller?

A: While sit-ups or abdominal crunches are excellent for strengthening the abdominal muscles (i.e. stomach) they are not enough to create a fat burning effect.
You will need to do a minimum of 20 min. of cardiovascular exercise (bike, treadmill, Stairmaster, etc.) at a heart rate of at least 65% of your maximum heart rate to create a fat burning effect and thus reduce the size of your stomach.

Keep in mind a healthy diet low in fat is also necessary to help achieve maximum results in flattening your stomach.
