Did you know?
Ten everyday habits that harm your health.

1.  Skipping breakfast - This sends your body into starvation
mode and slows down your metabolism.
2.  Exercise balance - No exercise is obviously bad, but too much
exercise (over training) can also be harmful to our bodies.
3.  Getting dehydrated - Increases heart rate and blood pressure.
4.  Wearing the wrong shoes for exercise - Choose the right shoe
for the right sport or activity.  Running shoes for running, tennis
shoes for tennis, etc.  Cross-training shoes are a good choice for a
variety of sports including running short distances.
5.  Ignoring stress - Everyone experiences it, but many of us ignore
it.  Do something positive to help alleviate stress, like exercise,
     massage therapy, or meditation.
6.  Dieting - All diets do not work, period!  You should strive to
eat healthy on a daily basis thus keeping your caloric intake in line
    with your caloric expenditure.
7.  Relying on pills, potions, or snake oils for your health
Remember there is no quick fix or magic beans to help you get
into shape.  The easiest way to get into shape is to educate yourself
in the areas of  exercise and nutrition and apply what you learn to
     yourself.
8.  Eating fast food - The typical fast food meal is high in fat
and high in calories over all.  Both of which are not good for us.
9.  Sleeping too little or too much - Too little sleep and are bodies
can get run down leading to illness and injuries.  Too much sleep
can lead make us lethargic and depressed.
10.  Not enough fresh air - Staying indoors too much can not only
harm our lungs but can make us claustrophobic.  Try to get
outside and enjoy the fresh air once in a while.
