Did you know?

When muscle tissue is dehydrated by even as little as 3%, it will lose 10% of its strength and 8% of its speed.

Water, water every where and not a drop to drink.

Contrary to popular belief, the most common cause of poor physical performance is dehydration.

The first thing people often look at when feeling light headed or nauseated in a workout is their nutrition.

Albeit, nutrition is important, the first thing to ask yourself when feeling light headed or nauseated during a workout should be, how much water have I been drinking.

And not just drinking during the workout.  You need to drink before, during and after.

For a one hour workout you should have at least 10-16 oz. 20 min. prior to the start of exercise, another 24-32 oz. during your workout, and at least 16 oz. after your workout.

These numbers will vary depending on workout intensity and weather conditions.

Have a Healthy Day,
