Did you know?
 
Have you ever had a minor sports injury or other minor sprain or strain?  How did you care for it? 
 
Here is the scoop with minor sprains or strains.
 
R.I.C.E.
 
R - Rest
I - Ice
C - Compression
E - Elevation
 
The first 48 hours are critical.  Follow the acronym R.I.C.E. for the first 48 hours. 
 
No Heat!   For the first 48 hours no heat.  This will increase the blood flow to the injury creating more swelling and pain.
 
Always consult your physician if the pain is extreme.
 
Keep up the workouts!
