Subject: Executive Fitness Weekly Fit Tip:
Did you know?

Slack off statistics.

What happens when you take a vacation from exercise?

1 week - Cardiovascular capacity (endurance) and strength probably won't be affected.  Sometimes a week off allows your body to heal after several weeks of intense training.

1 month - Expect to huff and puff on the treadmill or life cycle.  You've lost a small amount of cardiovascular capacity and strength, but nothing drastic.

3 months - You have probably lost half of what you gained in strength and endurance, leading up to this break.  Start back to your program slow to avoid injuries.

6 months - You are in the same shape you were before you ever started your exercise program.  All of your previous gains in strength and endurance are null and void.

Remember, consistency is the name of the game.  Working out for 20-30 min. 3 days a week is more beneficial than working out 2 hours one day a week.

Have a Healthy Day,
